Information and Communications Technologies Teacher (Part-time) – Secondary (Ref: SEC/ICTPTT/20170303/ty_isf)

Responsibilities

  • Utilize ICT curriculum to teach timetabled ICT classes
  • Coordinate with the Head of ICT on development of course content
  • Prepare online and offline course materials
  • Produce differentiated ICT tasks for a range of learning skills and abilities
  • Maintain open lines of communication with parents on their child’s progress and development

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree with professional qualifications in education

  • Handle other ad-hoc assignments.

Requirements:

  • LCCI level qualification with accounting knowledge.
  • Hands-on experience in PC skills and MS office.
  • Mature, independent and be able to meet deadlines.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Good command of English, Cantonese and Putonghua.
  • Immediately available preferred.

  • Prepare full set of accounts of a company.
  • Accounts reconciliation and preparation of accounting schedules

  • Assist in enhancing financial reporting system, policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or relevant discipline.
  • 5-8 years’ relevant experience, experiences in school operation is an advantage.
  • Hands on experience in MS office, with strong advanced Excel skills.
  • Knowledge of modern ERP and accounting systems, system implementation experience will be an added advantage.

Auditorium Manager (Ref: CO/AM/20170323/bk_isf)

The Auditorium Manager is responsible for the overall management of the auditorium and coordinating all aspects of services to groups utilizing the auditorium. The Auditorium Manager is also responsible for promoting the auditorium to the community and relevant performing arts organizations.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise all auditorium events including scheduling, set-up and presentation
  • Coordinate the technical demands of productions, performances and events using the auditorium.
  • Manage the auditorium schedule to ensure that all events are scheduled and not overlap with other school events.
  • Work with School Principles and Senior Management Team to maintain an accurate master calendar of all events in the auditorium and serve as the contact person/resource for staff/administration in planning events
  • Provide the technical support for school productions, performances and events.  
  • Maintain safety and efficiency of all auditorium technical facilities: physical plant, stage rigging, construction area, lighting, and sound equipment.
  • Plan and develop all operational and logistical aspects of events including development of timelines, staffing roles and responsibilities, obtaining vendor quotes, facility and layout recommendation, vendor coordination and technological requirements, including troubleshooting as needed.
  • Develop a working relationship with building and grounds crew and grounds coordinator to support safety requirements for students and auditorium space.
  • Maintain and track budget, ensuring budget compliance; reconcile accounts immediately after event completion.
  • Ensure all events comply with School policies and procedures, including but not limited to financial policies, risk management policies, and procurement policies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree with an emphasis in theatre management or a relevant discipline
  • 6+ year relevant working experience and knowledge in the management of a large auditorium, including but not limited to
    • construction and set design
    • lighting design, stage rigging, audio and sound reinforcement
    • stage management/production management
    • professional standards of stage safety
  • Experience in promoting an auditorium and a broad understanding of performing arts organizations in Hong Kong will be preferred
  • The ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures
  • Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, including Putonghua
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, supervisory and communication skills

Learn to Swim Instructor (Ref: CCA-LSI/20170103/ty_isf)

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver hands on instruction of the Aquatic Program at The ISF Academy;
  • Maintain flow and continuity of all lessons, ensuring correct and accurate technique is taught and lessons achieve positive results;
  • Ensure swim areas are set up before each lesson and maintain the tidiness after the coaching session, lesson plans are followed and lesson attendance is accurately recorded;
  • Prepare appropriate lesson plans and show initiative in improving lesson plans;
  • Take an active role in promoting the Aquatic Program to the ISF community.

Requirements:

  • Possess a valid HKASA swimming instructor certification or equivalent from an internationally recognized association;
  • Possess a Hong Kong Life Saving Society Bronze Medallion or equivalent from an internationally recognized association;
  • Possess a valid first aid and CPR certificate;
  • Have at least 3 years’ experience in assisting teaching aquatics including infant, learning to swim and competitive elements;
  • Fluency in English and/or Putonghua/Mandarin essential;
  • Strong administrative skills with excellent command of Microsoft Office and Google Docs.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work from Monday to Friday
  • Provide clerical support to Academy Librarians
  • Receive and prepare resources and materials
  • Assist in cataloging and the maintenance of bibliographic and user records
  • Assist in the upkeep of library facilities, shelving and displays
  • Perform circulation duties
  • Monitor the library discipline during opening hours                                          

Requirements:

  • Holder of the Certificate of Library Assistant (or equivalent) and a minimum of 2 years’ work experience in a library environment
  • A good command of both English and Chinese (Putonghua), able to work independently, good organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Good knowledge of Chinese and English word processing, library information systems and other office software applications
  • Able to speak fluent English and Putonghua

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the safety of swimmers in the swimming pool, identify potential hazards and be alert to preventing accidents;
  • Enforce all pool rules in a consistent, courteous and fair manner;
  • Respond quickly, intelligently, decisively and in accordance with established emergency and accident management procedures;
  • Administer first aid and CPR as required;
  • Monitor water quality and carry out regular water treatment in accordance with established water quality management procedures;
  • Monitor facility cleanliness and carry out daily cleaning in accordance with established cleaning schedule.

Requirements:

  •  Possess a valid Hong Kong Life Saving Society certification that permits life saving responsibilities in Hong Kong;
  • Possess a Hong Kong Life Saving Society Bronze Medallion or equivalent from an internationally recognized association;
  • Possess a current first aid and CPR certificate;
  • Fluency in English and/or Putonghua/Mandarin essential.

Procurement Officer (Ref: FIN-PO/20170407/bk_isf)

Major Responsibilities:

  • Perform sourcing and procurement of all teaching resources, equipment, supplies, and furniture for the school.
  • Assist tendering process, perform supplier / pricing evaluation and recommendation, assist contact drafting, delivery expediting, and inventory control etc.
  • Responsible for purchase order and receipts data entry, delivery coordination, distribution and inventory tracking etc.
  • Provide support in enhancing office environment and perform administrative services; and support in school renovation and relocation projects.
  • Maintenance of general office and all purchase file related records.
  • Assist in various ad hoc tasks of the department and prepare management report as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Degree in Business Administration, Procurement or related disciplines.
  • Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience in the area of procurement / office administration.
  • Mature, self-motivated, detailed-oriented, organized, proactive, able to work independently and under pressure to meet strict deadlines.
  • Good communication and negotiation skills
  • Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, including Putonghua.
  • Strong PC skills and knowledge.  Previous work experience with SAP Purchase order System would be an advantage.
