Merit-Based Scholarship Programs

INTRODUCTION

The Board of Governors of The ISF Academy has established a Merit-Based Scholarship Program to

encourage our students to strive for excellence in their chosen passions, be it in academics, the arts, sports, or other areas. This scholarship program provides for a fee remission of 50% to 100% of the annual tuition fee and, in the case of the Special Talent Scholarship, an annual allowance to reimburse any Special Talent expenses such as training and competition fees.

The objectives of this program are:

  • to encourage and motivate our students to strive for academic excellence and a balanced development; and
  • to acknowledge our students' achievements and efforts, particularly in the areas of leadership, contribution to the school community, and academic studies.

As this program is separate and distinct from the Financial Aid Program, students who qualify and receive an ISF Academy Scholarship may also apply for Financial Aid.

Students who are presently studying in the school, as well as transfer students, are eligible to apply for these scholarships. The Scholarship Selection Committee does not distinguish between existing and transfer students in its deliberations.

Meeting the eligibility criteria does not guarantee the award of a scholarship. The award of the scholarship is at the sole discretion of the School, and in the case of the Amy Li Chong Yuet-Ming Scholarship, it is at the sole discretion of the scholarship donor.
