Giving

Welcome, and thank you for your interest in supporting The ISF Academy and our mission.

The ISF Academy started operations at our temporary campus at Wanchai in August 2003, opened a second temporary campus at Causeway Bay in August 2006, and moved to our new permanent home next to Cyberport, Pokfulam in August 2007 when we completed Phase I of our campus development plan.

The total construction costs for Phase I was approximately HK$250 million for the provision of 60 classrooms, a gymnasium, two libraries, and a number of special rooms in the Primary Building and the Secondary Building.  The Hong Kong Government funded approximately 70% of our construction costs and the remaining amounts for capital construction, as well as additional amounts required for the educational programs, came from private donations.

As a non-profit private independent school, we will not receive any further subsidy or financial assistance from the Hong Kong Government.  All our expenses, both capital and operational, must be funded from school fees and donations.  The funding needs of the school are therefore two-fold: one for the long term needs of the school such as new facilities and the establishment of student and professional development endowment funds through our Aspire Campaign; and the other to augment the programs that we give to our students today through our Annual Fund.

We hope the following overview offers a perspective with which to view giving to The ISF Academy.  The descriptions of our programs and initiatives contained in this section provide more detailed information about our goals and giving opportunities.  If you have questions, please do not hesitate to contact the Development Office at development@isf.edu.hk or 2202-2048.

Please help us fulfill our mission.  Thank you.
