Congratulations to our Class of 2018 Graduates!

We have some exciting news to share! We have just heard back about some of our students’ International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) grades re-marks results and a number of our students’ grades have gone up, bringing the number of students with perfect IB score this year to two! The Independent Schools Foundation Academy (ISF) is delighted to congratulate all members of its Class of 2018 for their excellent IBDP results. 

Head of School, Dr. Malcolm Pritchard praised the efforts of the graduating class: “The ISF Academy commends the 36 members of the Class of 2018 for their dedication, commitment, diligence, mindfulness and perseverance during the challenging IB journey; our seventh cohort of IB students have achieved the highest results ever for The ISF Academy.”

  • 2 students gained the maximum 45 points for the IB Diploma (6%) 
  • 7 students scored 44 or 43 points out of the maximum of 45 points (19%) 
  • 16 students scored 40 points or higher (44%)
  • Average diploma score of ISF candidates is 39.2 points 
  • Achievement range 45-33 points
  • 100% pass rate (world average 78%)
  • 26 students received the Bilingual Diploma (72%)
  • Average subject grade 6.1
  • Average core points 2.5

The incredible academic achievements of the Class 2018 will see its graduates continuing their learning at the world’s most prestigious and selective universities. The graduates received 250 offers from universities worldwide, including The University of Cambridge, University of Warwick, University College London, King’s College London, Princeton University, Cornell University, Brown University, The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, Stanford University, University of California, Los Angeles, University of Hong Kong, and Chinese University of Hong Kong, to name but a few.
