ACE Fellowship Awarded to Dr. Malcolm Pritchard

The ISF Academy is pleased to announce that Dr. Malcolm Pritchard, the Academy’s Head of School, was recently awarded a much coveted Fellowship of the Australian College of Educators (ACE), a national professional association for educators across all sectors and systems in Australia.

Dr. Pritchard is one of the eleven recipients—and the only overseas recipient— of this year’s Fellowship. The Fellowship is a recognition of Dr. Pritchard’s outstanding contribution to international, indigenous, and Chinese language education, in Australia, and other parts of the world.

As the Head of School of The ISF Academy, Dr. Pritchard’s dedication to the promotion of international and Chinese language education is evident. Under his leadership, the Academy’s bilingual education and immersive Chinese language learning have generated remarkable International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme (DP) results and university placements for its graduates.

Dr. Pritchard also played a very active role in indigenous education in Australia when he was the Principal of Kormilda College in Darwin. He raised funds from government and private sources for the construction of accommodation and training facilities for indigenous students. He was also a board member of the Council of the Internationally Accredited Schools of Australia.

When he is not on campus, Dr. Pritchard is often sharing his pedagogical and school management experience with various educational organizations—he is a member of the International Baccalaureate Asia Pacific Regional Council, Chairman of the Association of Chinese and Mongolian IB Schools, and a workshop leader for the IB in the fields of school governance and leadership.

Dr. Pritchard is truly honored to receive the ACE Fellowship Award. He is very grateful for the support of the ACE and the ISF community.

Congratulations to Dr. Pritchard!
