css=&#8221;.vc_custom_1616640716532{padding-right: 100px !important;}&#8221;]<style text=\"text\/css\"><\/style><h2  class=\"isf_custom_heading filled\" style=\"text-align:left;\">School Nurse<\/h2>[vc_empty_space height=&#8221;50px&#8221;]<style text=\"text\/css\"><\/style><h2  class=\"isf_custom_heading underline\" style=\"text-align:left;\">Job Responsibilities<\/h2>[vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure the smooth operation of Medical Room in order to provide professional, immediate and appropriate medical support to the students and staff of the school;<\/li>\n<li>Promote and protect the optimal health status of students;<\/li>\n<li>Develop health and safety standard protocols and procedures;<\/li>\n<li>Monitor the health status of the school population;<\/li>\n<li>Promote and assist in control of communicable disease through preventative measures, early detection, surveillance and reporting of contagious Diseases;<\/li>\n<li>Provide health education to students, faculty and non-faculty members in both individual and group settings;<\/li>\n<li>Respond to the needs of students reporting sick, prioritize and deal with them as appropriate, including carrying out necessary first aid care and medical treatment;<\/li>\n<li>Make arrangements to contact parents\/ sending home\/ hospitalization, where necessary;<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with class teacher, year group teachers, tutors and senior leaders on health problems with students;<\/li>\n<li>Maintain records of all visits to Medical Room and complete accident forms and reports as appropriate;<\/li>\n<li>Provide first aid training for faculty and staff regularly and ensure adequate and appropriate first aid stock in medical room and classroom supplies, such as contents and display etc.; and<\/li>\n<li>Provide medical cover for school events and trips where required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=&#8221;50px&#8221;][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner]<style text=\"text\/css\"><\/style><h2  class=\"isf_custom_heading underline\" style=\"text-align:left;\">Requirements<\/h2>[\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor Degree holder in Nursing; Registered with the Hong Kong Nursing Board preferred;<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of 3 years school nurse experience; relevant training in paediatrics and child health would be advantageous;<\/li>\n<li>Able to perform routine medical procedures and first aid treatment;<\/li>\n<li>Excellent interpersonal skills and good command of both written and spoken English, proficient in Chinese (including Mandarin) is preferred;
