css=&#8221;.vc_custom_1616640716532{padding-right: 100px !important;}&#8221;]<style text=\"text\/css\"><\/style><h2  class=\"isf_custom_heading filled\" style=\"text-align:left;\">Secondary School Technician \u2013 Design<\/h2>[vc_empty_space height=&#8221;50px&#8221;]<style text=\"text\/css\"><\/style><h2  class=\"isf_custom_heading underline\" style=\"text-align:left;\">Job Responsibilities<\/h2>[vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide assistance in setting up before class and organize student materials and equipment after lessons;<\/li>\n<li>Support teachers in preparing student work for class activities;<\/li>\n<li>Provide assistance at school events, exhibitions and workshops;<\/li>\n<li>Organize the maintenance of design equipment such as laser cutter, 3D printer, etc.;<\/li>\n<li>Draw up and maintain inventory of equipment; maintain resources and keep record of stocks, and to liaise with teachers for ordering needs;<\/li>\n<li>Check students\u2019 timetables and liaise with class teachers for the day\u2019s lessons and needs;<\/li>\n<li>Arrange regular safety inspections of machinery and equipment;<\/li>\n<li>Ensure students\u2019 work and unused materials are returned to appropriate storage area, and ensure each teaching area is locked and secured when not in use;<\/li>\n<li>Maintain a record of the department\u2019s risk assessments;<\/li>\n<li>Re-organize new equipment and materials for the following academic year; and<\/li>\n<li>Back up other Secondary Technicians if required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=&#8221;50px&#8221;][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner]<style text=\"text\/css\"><\/style><h2  class=\"isf_custom_heading underline\" style=\"text-align:left;\">Requirements<\/h2>[\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor degree or higher diploma awarded by a professional institute;<\/li>\n<li>Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience preferably in education environment;<\/li>\n<li>Practical and sound working knowledge of design equipment and their storage needs;<\/li>\n<li>Be IT literate and competent in using google drive \/ calendar;<\/li>\n<li>Able to meet tight deadline, well organized and independent;<\/li>\n<li>A very good command of spoken and written English and Cantonese<\/li>\n<li>A good standard of Mandarin is desirable, but not essential;
