css=&#8221;.vc_custom_1616640716532{padding-right: 100px !important;}&#8221;]<style text=\"text\/css\"><\/style><h2  class=\"isf_custom_heading filled\" style=\"text-align:left;\">Senior Finance Manager<\/h2>[vc_empty_space height=&#8221;50px&#8221;][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner]<style text=\"text\/css\"><\/style><h2  class=\"isf_custom_heading underline\" style=\"text-align:left;\">Responsibilities<\/h2>[\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Support the Assistant Director of Finance as a core member of the Finance management team;<\/li>\n<li>Lead and review month-end closing processes, schedules, reconciliations, and full sets of financial statements;<\/li>\n<li>Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely delivery of management and statutory financial reports;<\/li>\n<li>Prepare and review management reports, variance analyses, and financial performance summaries;<\/li>\n<li>Provide guidance on procurement matters and review purchase orders submitted for approval;<\/li>\n<li>Prepare budget and forecast reports, and reports to Education Bureau;<\/li>\n<li>Assist in replying to enquiries from Inland Revenue Department and Education Bureau;<\/li>\n<li>Provide analytical insights on trends, risks, and financial implications to support senior management decision-making;<\/li>\n<li>Prepare, review, coordinate finance-related papers for the Finance Committee , Audit Committee, the Development Committee , the Financial Aid Committee , and other governance meetings;<\/li>\n<li>Oversee daily finance operations, ensuring data integrity and system controls (e.g. SAP);<\/li>\n<li>Supervise daily accounting operations and ensure compliance with ISF financial policies, procedures, and internal control requirements;<\/li>\n<li>Identify control gaps, recommend improvements, and ensure consistent application of finance policies across entities;<\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, accounting standards, Education Bureau requirements and internal governance frameworks;<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate external audit matters, including audit planning, fieldwork support, and resolution of audit findings;<\/li>\n<li>Provide guidance, coaching, and support to finance team members to enhance capability and performance;<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with academic and administrative departments on finance-related matters and institutional initiatives;<\/li>\n<li>Lead the review of financial aid applications and coordination with financial aid applicants;<\/li>\n<li>Ensure confidentiality of financial aid applications; and<\/li>\n<li>Administrative and any ad hoc duties as assigned.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=&#8221;50px&#8221;][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner]<style text=\"text\/css\"><\/style><h2  class=\"isf_custom_heading underline\" style=\"text-align:left;\">Requirements<\/h2>[\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in Accounting \/ Finance or other related discipline;<\/li>\n<li>A full member of an internationally recognized accounting professional body;<\/li>\n<li>At least 8 years of solid accounting and financial management experience, with at least 4 years of managerial experience;<\/li>\n<li>Solid experience in producing, reviewing and monitoring financial reports, budgets and forecast reports;<\/li>\n<li>Experience working in sizable and complex organizations; experience in the education sector would be an advantage;<\/li>\n<li>Strong analytical mindset with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines;<\/li>\n<li>Proactive, structured, and solution-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset;<\/li>\n<li>Confident and credible when engaging with senior management, auditors, and committees;<\/li>\n<li>Effective team leader with good interpersonal and communication skills;<\/li>\n<li>Strong computer literacy (Excel, PowerPoint etc.) and experienced user of SAP \/ ERP systems;
