Established in 1902, the Rhodes Scholarship is one of the oldest graduate scholarships in the world and one of the most prestigious international scholarship programs. It provides full financial support for students to pursue two or three years of graduate study in a field of their choice at the University of Oxford.<\/p>\n<p>Each year, the Rhodes Scholarship selects about 100 remarkable individuals from its 25 constituencies, representing more than 60 countries and territories worldwide. The rigorous selection process evaluates not only academic excellence but also character, a sense of duty, the energy to make full use of one\u2019s talents, and a commitment to truth, moral courage, and service.<\/p>\n<p>This distinction recognizes Tatiana\u2019s exceptional academic achievements, commitment to public service, and dedication to using her talents for social good. As a Rhodes Scholar at Oxford, she will further her academic and leadership pursuits within a community of visionary thinkers dedicated to shaping values and building a better future.<\/p>\n<p>Tatiana\u2019s journey with ISF began in her formative years\u2014from Foundation Year to Grade 12\u2014spanning a remarkable 13 years of growth and discovery. Now a senior at Stanford University, she is pursuing a double major in Computer Science and Classics. Tatiana has developed AI tools for public health and legal aid and previously worked at the Robin Hood Foundation and the NYC Department of Education. Passionate about expanding access to education, she has published a Latin textbook for young learners, developed vocabulary games for Syriac scholars, and co-authored a white paper on equitable AI in classrooms.<\/p>\n<p>Reflecting on her ISF roots, Tatiana shared, \u201cI\u2019m really grateful for ISF for being the origin of my love for Classics, and in particular to my teachers who have nurtured this passion of mine. I feel immensely lucky to have been a student in the Shuyuan program, which was an incredible opportunity for me to pursue my intellectual interests. I am truly indebted to ISF for cultivating these passions and giving me a safe place to explore my intellectual interests and grow.\u201d Tatiana will be pursuing an MPhil in Greek and\/or Latin Languages and Literature at Oxford, and hopes to build a future career in public interest law, focused on impact litigation and legislative advocacy.<\/p>\n<p>The ISF community extends its sincere wishes to Tatiana as she continues her extraordinary academic journey.
