Assistant Finance Manager (Ref: FO/AFM/20200626_isf)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the Senior Finance Manager with financial and management reporting, budgeting and forecasting, financial and business analysis.
  • Perform month-end closing procedures including the preparation and review of full sets of financial statements and related accounting records.
  • Ensure completeness and accuracy of all financial transactions.
  • Assist with the preparation of the annual statutory financial audit.
  • Oversee the ISF Pre-School’s tuition fee revision process and subsequent submission of information to the Education Bureau.
  • Assist with the enhancement of financial and management reporting systems, internal controls, policies and procedures.
  • Assist with cash management and investment accounting.
  • Any ad hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree in Finance, Accounting or other related discipline.
  • CPA / Chartered Accountant equivalent qualification highly preferred.
  • At least 5 years’ relevant experience; experience in the education sector is an added advantage.
  • PC proficiency in MS Office including PowerPoint, MS Word and Excel; knowledge of SAP will be a definite advantage.
  • Detailed-minded, strong analytical skills, independent and be able to work well under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
  • Excellent problem solving, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proactive, mature and adaptable to change.
  • Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, including Putonghua.

Facilities Management Officer (Ref:FMO/FMO/20200331_isf)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Handle and reply all incoming enquires and emails to users in a professional manner and offer necessary support directly.
  • Monitor the day-to-day FM operations including cleaning, moving, security, landscape, pest control and other services contractors;
  • Perform general clerical and administrative duties and assist to evaluate and prepare service contracts;
  • Liaise and maintain good relationship with internal and external parties to provide smooth operation in daily management
  • Attend regular meetings, prepare general daily reports and administrative duties

Requirements:

  • Degree or Diploma holder in Facility / Property / Housing Management or related disciplines plus at least 5 years of relevant experiences, with 3 years solid experiences at supervisor level in commercial / residential / school properties
  • Computer literate in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese Word Processing;
  • Presentable, independent with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Willing to perform duties in irregular hours is required;
  • Fluency in written and spoken English, Chinese and Mandarin.

Working Hours:

  • Monday – Friday: 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. / 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
  • Alternate Saturday: 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

System Officer (PowerSchool) (Ref: IT/PSSO/20200616_isf)

The successful candidate will be part of a team that manages the school’s PowerSchool Student Information System (SIS) and will provide for, development, data analysis, support, and advice to end-users of The ISF PowerSchool SIS.

Job Responsibilities:

Development

  • Participate in a variety of planning and development activities (e.g. planning meetings, committees, user interviews, etc.) to develop and maintain custom plugins for PowerSchool.
  • Create and maintain custom pages and plugins in PowerSchool.
  • Create web-based solutions to augment existing software platforms.
  • Prepare a variety of materials (e.g. technical specifications, user manuals, project documentation, flowcharts, etc.) to document custom development.
  • Assist with the integration of PowerSchool with other application systems.

System Administration and Reporting

  • PowerSchool day to day system administration including scheduling, attendance, student data management, faculty data management, emergency/medical and health management, registration, and more.
  • Design and administer reports utilizing PowerSchool’s built-in tools, Crystal Reports, and Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services.
  • Creates custom reports, manages the PowerSchool report card process, and assists in class scheduling setup.

Training

  • Provide support for the creation and delivery of training materials for stakeholder training.
  • Perform one-on-one and group PowerSchool training with staff.

General responsibilities

  • Work cooperatively with staff to perform job responsibilities as outlined.
  • Actively and effectively communicate with stakeholders.
  • Shares a commitment to the success of the mission, goals, and objectives of the ISF.
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality regarding student and staff information in order to remain in compliance with legal requirements and to maintain a professional work environment.
  • Keep current with trends, developments, research, and initiatives relevant to student information systems and PowerSchool.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred, with at least 3 years of server, database, and development experience. (Preferred in PowerSchool SIS administration and development)
  • Experience in programming and application design with HTML, CSS, JavaScript PHP
  • Knowledge of database administration and performance tuning in My SQL, MS SQL, and Oracle Database
  • Strong customer service orientation, responding to customers (staff, parents, and students) needs in a timely manner
  • Good command of Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua) and English
  • Organized and extremely detail-oriented
  • Self-motivated, mature, and able to work independently as well as be a team player
  • Ability to demonstrate analytical skills

Administration Officer (Ref: PRE/AO/20200811_isf)

Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative and operational support to the school
  • Prepare reports for supervisor's review and decision making
  • Provide secretarial support to school management for meeting and travel arrangements
  • Undertake ad hoc assignment as assigned by leadership team

Requirements:

  • Degree holder, preferably in business administration;
  • At least 2 years of work experience, preferably in a school setting;
  • Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua);
  • Well-organized, detail-minded, conscientious and able to prioritize work;
  • Pleasant manner with good interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Independent, mature, stable, and able to work under pressure;
  • Willing to take initiatives and proactively taking up ad hoc tasks; and
  • Proficient in Chinese and English word processing, and should possess knowledge and skills in graphics design and other office software applications.
