ISF was established in February 2000 as a registered charitable organization in response to a pressing educational need in Hong Kong to provide diversity in the choice of education for local students. The Foundation is governed by a Board of Governors. The ISF Board set out the overall policies of the Academy and established a School Management Committee in accordance with the Education Ordinance and Education Regulations.
