ISF taught me to always put myself out there. In my eleven years here, I’ve adopted a mindset of discovery and become someone who is willing to seek out opportunities rather than wait for them to come.

In this place, there is always something cool happening that’s waiting for you to discover — the athletics team winning relay medals; the cutting-edge student research into genomes; the musicians throwing a lunchtime gig. It makes me proud that I belong to a community of such diverse talents and passions.

My hopes for the future are to do research into the brain and consciousness, and to continue my passions as a musician and athlete. From my roots here, I will carry the spirit of discovery wherever I go.
