ISF provided me countless opportunities to discover my passions. Diving into head-scratching concepts during MFE, chemistry and biology BC’s… I have been hooked by the sciences ever since. Theatre allowed me to explore my creative side. The joy of losing myself in characters (Gertrude, Rice family 大媽, Doomsday clock construction worker…), the inside jokes that emerged during rehearsals are something I’ll never forget. My microbiology extended essay solidified my interest in medical research. I am so grateful for this opportunity as it played an important role in shaping my goals for university.

Throughout my 12 years at ISF, I formed meaningful friendships. We celebrated each other’s successes, comforted one another during challenges, and created countless memories both in and out of the classroom. Teachers not only pushed me to develop intellectually, but also cared about me as an individual. I am so grateful to everyone who supported me during this journey. The small sensory details: that bouncy sofa outside the B2 space, the woody smell of the library archive room, that one table outside the conference room where I crammed before final exams…

All of these smells, feelings and places will forever hold a special place in my heart.
