I am particularly grateful to the ISF Shuyuan program for the opportunity to uncover my interest in microbiology research, which strongly influenced my decision to pursue medicine. Attending scientific conferences such as AGU, AOGS, and ASM with friends remain some of my most memorable experiences.

I’m grateful for the multifaceted ways in which ISF has shaped my interests and values as a lifelong learner, and for the meaningful connections I’ve made along the way!
