The ISF basketball teams have achieved sweeping results to conclude Season 2 with all seven Division Two Teams advanced to the Championships Week. Their dedication in training has elevated ISF basketball to a whole new level.

In the tournaments, the teams scooped 4 championships (U12, U14, U16 Boys and U14 Girls), first runner-up (U20 Girls), second runner-up (U20 Boys) and third runner-up (U12 Girls). Along with marvelous achievements in local league and invitational events, we saw unbridled talent and passion for basketball in these elite basketball players.

Zachary Rice, Head of Basketball, found the winter season action-packed and full of excitement, energy, and significant accomplishments. He also commended the team’s transcendent spirits,

“I could not be prouder of how our student-athletes have progressed and embraced the challenges faced during the season. Thank you to the devoted coaching team who spared time and overflowing enthusiasm for teaching. Our gratitude to the student-athletes, parents, administrators, sports managers, faculty, and staff who have contributed to the basketball program’s development and advancement thus far.”

Moving into the spring season, the U20 Boys and Girls teams will participate in the ACAMIS Invitational, HKSSF B and C Grade, and HKSSF Primary basketball tournaments. In addition, 15 teams will be fielded to compete for the glory of ISF in local leagues. We wish them every success in the upcoming contests.
