Craftsmen and Construction of Dunhuang Grottoes
Craftsmen in Dunhuang were the builders of the Dunhuang Grottoes and also the creators of Dunhuang art in ancient times. As the most outstanding historical and cultural heritage of the Chinese people and a symbol of ancient human civilization, Dunhuang Grottoes were mainly created by Dunhuang craftsmen of different generations. Through their diligence, wisdom, and even their lives, they left an inexhaustible cultural, artistic heritage and spiritual wealth to generations in future.
