Assistant Finance Manager
Job Description
Financial Management (approximately 40%)
- Handle a full set of accounting for the assigned entities;
- Responsible for accounting operation, including bank reconciliation, prepare P&L, balance sheet and other financial reports on monthly basis;
- Handle accounts receivable and accounts payable processes;
- Ensure the compliance of internal control and financial policies;
- Prepare breakdowns for year end audit; and
- Prepare of annual budget and forecast.
Treasury (approximately 30%)
- Take ownership of monthly profit & loss and analyses of treasury function;
- Perform and support treasury functions including cash management, fund management, bank administration; and
- Advise management on the liquidity aspects of its short- and long-term planning; and provide cash analysis and other relative reports to management.
Investment (approximately 30%)
- Prepare reporting and financial analysis of current/potential investment projects, conduct quantitative analysis on investment opportunities, and provide investment recommendations;
- Work with internal and external parties for monitoring the risk-return of investment portfolio; and
- Forecast cash flow positions and available funds for new investments; and ensure that sufficient funds are available to meet ongoing operational and capital spending/investment requirements.
Others
- Handle secretarial tasks of Finance Committee
- Support/lead other business activities and tasks assigned by supervisor
Job Responsibilities
- Bachelor Degree or above in Finance, Accounting or other related discipline;
- Qualified CPA/ CFA holder will be an advantage;
- At least 6 years of solid financial management and treasury experience; and at least 2 years at managerial position;
- With experience from investment banks/ firms, private equity firms or treasury department of sizeable corporations is preferable but not a compulsory requirement;
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills;
- Proficiency of both written and spoken English and Chinese, including Mandarin; and
- A knowledgeable and experienced user of SAP would be added advantage.
Requirements
- Higher Diploma or above in Information Technology or related discipline;
- Knowledge of OS X and Windows Operating System. Linux familiarity is an advantage;
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (both Windows and Mac environment);
- Knowledge of administering users and computers via Active Directory;
- A good team player who is self-motivated, mature, and able to work independently.
- Good communication skills in both spoken and written English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
