IT Support Technician

Job Description

As an IT Support Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to our staff, students and parents of the Academy. Your duties will include troubleshooting hardware and software issues, configuring network settings etc., and ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day IT support to staff, students and parents via phone, email, and in-person.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to hardware, software, networks, classroom IT facilities, email, office applications, and printers.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and applications.
  • Assist in organizing and managing any IT-related activities and events.
  • Assist with the setup, maintenance of the IT infrastructure, networks and systems.
  • Managing user accounts and profiles, as well as handling password issues, including the creation and deactivation of user accounts.
  • Work collaboratively with IT team members to ensure the IT office operates efficiently.
  • Perform other tasks assigned by supervisor.

Requirements

  • Higher Diploma or above in Information Technology or related discipline;
  • Knowledge of OS X and Windows Operating System. Linux familiarity is an advantage;
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (both Windows and Mac environment);
  • Knowledge of administering users and computers via Active Directory;
  • A good team player who is self-motivated, mature, and able to work independently.
  • Good communication skills in both spoken and written English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
