Teaching Assistant - Physical and Health Education
Job Responsibilities
- Assist and support the PHE Faculty in all aspects of provision, including:
- Organizing equipment for lessons;
- Assisting in the organization of key events, e.g., sports day, swim gala, community events and after school activities and sports fixtures; and
- Liaising with the facilities management and procurement team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree holder, preferably in PE related qualification;
- First Aid Qualification, or willingness to undertake first aid training;
- Engaging in sport(s) to a competent level;
- Working with children in a sporting capacity, e.g., coaching;
- Ability to build effective working relationships with students, colleagues and parents;
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment, understanding classroom roles and responsibilities;
- Adept at use of technology to support learning and teaching;
- Experience in a bilingual working environment is advantageous; and
- Proficient in both Chinese and English Language desirable.
