ISF Alumni Information & Activities

The UGC Team works closely with the Foundation Development Office to maximize students’ accessibility and opportunities to learn about various careers and universities. UGC appoints a designated member of the team who acts as a liaison between the department and the Foundation Office.  Meetings are carried out each term to discuss and review the collaboration between the two departments, in particular the nurturing and development of relationships with ISF parent and alumni communities. The community networks and connections are beneficial to current ISF students as they could potentially provide valuable learning opportunities outside of the classrooms. The key areas of collaboration are:

  • Alumni Relations
    • Alumni sharing – give insights into university and internship experiences
    • Buddy scheme program – assist current ISF students to get first-hand information on university life
    • Networking and social opportunities

  • Offerings of Internships / Jobs / Summer Jobs to Current ISF Students
    • On-campus: through the Human Resources Department in the Summer
    • Off-campus: at ISF parents’ workplaces
    • Professional job-shadowing opportunities

  • Parents Relations
    • ISF parents sharing university experiences and internship opportunities
    • ISF parents with professional expertise supporting mock interviews and giving career advice on their respective discipline
