Excellent IB MYP Results for ISF Students

August 24, 2022

The Independent Schools Foundation Academy (ISF) is delighted to congratulate all members of its Class of 2024 for their excellent International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (MYP) eAssessment results.

MYP eAssessment comprises onscreen examinations in Language and Literature and Language Acquisition (Chinese and English), Mathematics, Sciences, Interdisciplinary Learning and Individuals and Societies, ePortfolios in Design, the Arts, PHE, and a Personal Project. Each student, depending on his or her subject choices, completes a total of eight of the above components.

Head of School, Dr. Malcolm Pritchard was delighted with these excellent results, achieved under such difficult circumstances. In particular, he praised the enthusiastic engagement of all eAssessment candidates during the online assessments: “We are proud of our students and their outstanding achievements. In a very disrupted year, they maintained a positive and optimistic attitude. Again, their results are comparable to any previous class and sit well above historical world averages in all subjects.”

ISF Results Summary:

Pass rate 100%
Average MYP eAssessment score 46 points (out of 56)
Students received the bilingual MYP certificate 73%
Average subject score 5.79

These pleasing scores reflect the strong conceptual understanding, knowledge and skills that our students have gained throughout the MYP. Accordingly, we are confident of their ability to meet the academic challenges that lie ahead as these students embark on their IB Diploma Programme journey.
