Actress and ISF alumna Natalie Hsu is one of the fastest rising talents in Hong Kong’s Film industry. After earning a Best Actress nomination at the 2024 Hong Kong Film Awards, she has just been honoured with the Screen International Rising Star Award at the New York Asian Film Festival (NYAFF). Known by the ISF community for her unshakable work ethic, warmth and passion, Natalie’s journey from ISF student to internationally recognized actress has been nothing short of inspiring. Fluent in Mandarin Chinese, Cantonese, and English, while possessing a high level of cultural literacy – she has showcased her ability to blend into diverse cultural contexts, telling stories that resonate across borders. Her ability to thrive in both Hong Kong and international cinema is a testament to her talent and dedication – she is certainly a rising star to watch in years to come!
